Summer 2026 Season
Seven Locks Swim and Tennis Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Head Dive Coach to join our dive team for the 2026 summer season. This is a paid seasonal position working alongside our Head Coach and Junior Coaches to support, develop, and inspire our divers of all ages and skill levels within the Montgomery County Dive League (MCDL).
Competitive salary with consideration for prior diving and coaching experience. Coaches may offer private diving lessons at a rate of their choosing; scheduling and payment for private lessons are arranged directly with families.

Coaches are expected to arrive approximately 15 minutes before each practice or event. Monday evenings are reserved as MCDL makeup meet days — please keep these available.

Palisades Dive Team is seeking a Head Dive Coach and Assistant Coaches for the 2026 summer season. The Head Coach will play a vital role in developing and mentoring our divers, fostering a positive and competitive team environment, managing a coaching staff, and ensuring the safety of all participants. The ideal candidates for Assistant Coaches would have prior dive coaching experience and enjoy working with kids of a variety of ages and diving abilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Head Dive Coach will lead a coaching staff for 45-55 divers. The MCDL dive season runs from end of May through end of July. Time commitments include:

Head Coach for Inverness Recreation
The Inverness Recreation Club (IRC) Dive Team is seeking a Head Coach for the 2026 summer season. The IRC Nessies team has approximately 25 divers and will be competing in MCDL’s Division V in 2026. The goal of our team is to provide
every diver an opportunity to learn the sport, improve skills, and achieve success at his or her own level of ability. As a club, we value good sportsmanship, friendship, and inclusion. We are in our second year with MCDL and seek a qualified and experienced Head Dive Coach to grow our program, work effectively with our existing team of Assistant Coaches, and provide excellent instruction to our team of budding divers.
The season begins on May 26, 2026 and goes until the last week in July.
Qualifications:
Experience as a dive coach or an experienced diver who has experience and desire to work with children. Experience teaching dive to beginners is a plus
Strong knowledge of diving technique, general rules, and safety regulations
Knowledge of the proper sequence of dive skill acquisition for beginning and intermediate divers
Current Lifeguard certification (Are we requiring this for dive coach?)
Willing and able to attend MCDL Coaching Clinic (offered in May and early June)
Responsibilities Include:
Develop divers from beginning to intermediate skills in a safe and encouraging environment
Attend and coach at all scheduled practices
Prepare documentation and be present in coaching capacity at all scheduled MCDL meets including Dual, Divisional, and All-Stars
Manage (2) assistant coaches incl. scheduling and coordinating proper coverage
Coordinate with Dive Team Rep, IRC Board, and other parent volunteers
Act in professional manner commiserate with Head Dive Coach at all times at IRC and while on-duty
Practice schedule is as follows:
AM Practice (M-F from June 18): 7:30-8:30am and 8:30-9:30am
PM Practice (M, T, Th from May 26): 6:45-7:45pm
Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience. Head Dive Coach has the opportunity to offer private lessons at their discretion and pay rate for additional income.
