Yellow cards passed around so representatives could make note of any Dive Team Representative changes, coaching changes and/or phone number changes.

Lori Puente, Vice President was absent. She is in process of scheduling Coaches' Clinics. There are already two dates; Lori is looking into possibility of scheduling a third date. Karl said significant improvements were shown from divers resulting from the Coaches' Clinics information being relaying/taught to young divers during summer season.
· Dive Practice Mats: MCDL may possible provide mats for pools. If Lori gets good info and competitive pricing, we will pass that information along to pools.
RULE CHANGES
* "8 & U" : It was decided to omit an old rule because its use had become obsolete due to addition of 8 & U group competing for points versus exhibition only.
8 & U can only dive up if there is a void in 9-10 groups.

* P.12 Diving Up Two divers are "available to participate," >>Eligible for team points.
· Rain Delay Problem/Issues
Roster: Names need to be entered ASAP for Insurance Safety purposes. Roster "cuts" down on ringers entering dive meets. It is mainly for Insurance purposes. Roster is also "record" for the meets.
· If 11-12 dive group completes all front dives, then lightning cancels meet, and 11-12 diver cannot make rescheduled Meet, Substitute can only perform as "exhibition" diver, cannot absorb points of absent 11-12 diver.
· Changes to a Diver's Sheet
If there are changes to a diver's sheet after sheet has been turned in and diver cannot perform more difficult dive written on sheet, the DD(degree of difficulty) will be reduced to lowest DD for that dive so that dive can be performed rather than failing the dive.
(Changes to this rule will be addressed next year.)
· Roster Issue: If a family is away and does not pay in time for next scheduled meet, diver would be entered as "exhibition" only and not "competitive" for points.
· From Steve Schrier: If 9-10 age diver scheduled to dive for absent 11-12 diver and 9-10 group completes their dives, then weather meet cancellation, what happens at Rescheduled Dive Meet when 11-12 diver is back from vacation??? Both the 9-10 diver and 11-12 diver can compete for points.
· From Steve Schrier: If there is a Void in Rescheduled Meet because of "vacationing" diver, do not allow void to be filled.
· Anyone on Roster, all rules apply. With Rescheduled Meet, anyone on Roster at that time can compete. Only "unstated" events can add new divers to line-up. * No diver can dive up to fill a Void at Rescheduled Meet if event has not already started.
· Dive sheets in possession of Meet Secretary:
a) changes can be made if meet rescheduled
b) return all dive sheets to Dive Rep so Meet is like a New Meet where it left off.
· Diver Eligibility for Divisionals: only need to compete in 2 meets.
· Special Circumstance: Diver was disqualified by Ref for "insincere" effort. When a diver does something like a can opener, should they be disqualified or simply that particular dive failed?

· RULE BOOK: Dive Number takes precedence over Dive wording description.
RULE STAYS: If there is not a Dive Number, then it is a Failed Dive because it is an Incomplete Sheet.
14) Birthdates on Dive Sheets???? Birthdates are already on Roster page online at MCDL website.
<<<<RULE CHANGE>>>> BIRTHDATE is not a requirement on Dive Sheet; bring printout of team's Roster to the Dive Meet.
· What if a diver performs different dive than the one announced and it is judged by judges, there is no time limit to change diver's score. The dive can still be failed because diver did wrong dive, although it was picked up after next diver had proceeded.
